The Work Behind the Finish

Three stages. One real repair.

This was a repair and reinstatement, not a complete redesign. The priority was to address the damaged structure before fitting and finishing the bath area.

01 · Expose the problem

Removing the bath and opening up the affected area exposed damage to the floor structure. The repair needed to address what was underneath before the bathroom could be put back together.

02 · Repair the structure

The structural floor was repaired and a new wall plate installed. This stage matters even though it is hidden once the bath and finishes are back in place.

03 · Fit, test and finish

The bath was fitted, the affected area tiled and grouted, and the shower, taps, waste and screen installed. The final work included testing, silicone sealing, the bath panel and making good the affected kitchen ceiling below.

Every repair is different. Photographs help us understand your enquiry, but the condition of concealed flooring and walls may only become clear when the area is inspected or opened up.
