How do you make sure a wet room won't leak?

Do I need to fully tank the whole room?
The floor and the wet zone always need full tanking, and we extend the membrane up the walls wherever water can reach. We assess the exact areas at survey so the waterproofing matches how the room will actually be used.
Will my floor need to be raised for drainage?
A wet room needs a slight gradient to drain, which we create with a purpose-made former. On solid floors this can sometimes be recessed; on timber floors a modest build-up may be needed. We'll explain the best approach for your property with your free quote.
Are wet room floors slippery?
